Russia fired 1,300 missiles at Ukraine, its reserves halved since start of war
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar said that Russia fired 1,300 missiles at Ukraine
Anna Malyar announced this on the air of United News telethon.
According to Malyar, the number of Russian missiles has halved from what it was at the beginning of the war.
"According to our data, their stocks have already more than halved during the time that they have been actively using them on the territory of Ukraine since February 24. They have already used more than 1,000 missiles. More precisely, more than 1,300 missiles. You can calculate how much remains", Malyar said.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that there Russia produces missiles, but it is difficult, since components for them were imported.
"As a result of the applied sanctions, Russia will not be able to get those components, but it can use previously purchased ones for some time. This will be enough for several months. But you need to understand that the stock of missiles they have already used on our territory cannot be replenished so quickly. It takes several years to replenish", Anna Malyar said.
