Ukraine's intelligence warns of new PSYOP funded by $15 million from Russia

Ukraine's intelligence reported the information.

It noted that Russia had allocated $15 million to implement a new large-scale campaign against Ukraine.

“The agency of the Russian Chekists has already received instructions to organize the paid production and dissemination of relevant materials in the media space of Ukraine and Western countries,” the statement said.

Russia is preparing a number of articles and “films” that, in particular, are expected to disclose the data of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine involved in coordinating the combat work of special units of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. 

Thus, Russia aims to discredit Ukrainian combat special units, officers and employees, block the work of agencies that develop and execute combat and special tasks against Russia, and create another factor of social tension in Ukraine.

• Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, warned of a new Russian information and psychological operation and urged Kherson residents to be careful.
