'Ukraine sets up concentration camps in Kursk region': Russian fakes for September 13
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of anti-Ukrainian fakes and manipulations launched by Russian propaganda on September 13
According to the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, on September 13, Russian propaganda launched two fakes.
Fake: The Russian Foreign Ministry said: “In some areas of the Kursk region, which were invaded by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, concentration camps have been set up.”
Rebuttal: Apart from the fact that the Russian side, of course, does not provide any evidence, such reports are aimed at demonizing Ukrainians in the eyes of Russians. The Ukrainian Armed Forces comply with international humanitarian law.
Fake: Russian collaborator and traitor Viktor Medvedchuk said: “Today, the threat to the collective West is Zelenskyy's Ukraine.”
Rebuttal: Such accusations are groundless and absurd, as only the Russian Federation and its terrorist nature pose a threat to the entire civilized world. And it is Russia that is trying to destroy the global legal order.
- Earlier, American journalist Fiorella Isabel said that Ukraine is killing women and children because it is losing.
