Russian fakes for June 13: selection from Center for Countering Disinformation
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of anti-Ukrainian fakes and manipulations that Russian propaganda launched on June 13
Espreso.TV reports.
According to the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, on June 13, Russian propaganda launched two fakes.
Fake: Commenting on the injury of two propaganda journalists of the Russian TV channel NTV, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zakharova said: "The attack on Russian journalists in Horlivka was deliberate."
Refutation: Zakharova has long been a mouthpiece for Russian propaganda and spreads fake messages about the Ukrainian Armed Forces, trying to demonize them. At the same time, Russia's typical tactic is to shift responsibility to Ukraine for the deaths of its propagandists in the combat zone, which is a priori dangerous.
Fake: The Russia and Ukraine News: Special Operation Z Telegram channel posted a screenshot of an article by the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN with the headline: "Ukraine must defeat Russia to join NATO".
Refutation: Russian diplomacy has long been a propaganda tool aimed at Western audiences. In this way, Russians are trying to demonize the Ukrainian Armed Forces and discredit the Ukrainian army in the international arena.
