Russia tries to stop war: selection of Russia’s fakes for February 15
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of fakes and manipulations that the Russian Federation produced on February 15

According to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on February 15, the Russian propaganda launched three major deceptions.
Disinformation: The Russian Andrey Medvedev Telegram channel posted a message: "The more Ukraine is defeated at the front, the more often Ukrainian militants will carry out terrorist attacks."
Disinformation: Russian dictator Putin said: "Russia is trying to end the war, at the first stage we wanted to do it through peaceful means."
Manipulation: The pro-Russian Legitimiy Telegram channel wrote: "Another 19th meeting of the Ramstein contact group did not result in anything tangible."
