The Center for Countering Disinformation reported this.

According to the report, these videos have clear signs of being fabricated: flickering and distortion of facial contours, unnatural shadows, strange lip movements, and a monotonous pronunciation without the pauses and intonation characteristic of a living person.

Analysis with special software confirmed the intervention of AI in the creation of the videos.

"Such fakes are a tool of the Russian Federation's information and psychological operations aimed at demoralizing society, undermining faith in its own army, and creating an atmosphere of hopelessness," the Center for Countering Disinformation emphasized.

  • On November 5, the Center for Countering Disinformation reported that Russian propagandists had distributed a fake video in which Ukrainian soldiers on the Vovchansk front were supposedly complaining about a "difficult situation" at the front.
