Oleksii Yizhak shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"Personally, I think that there are no nuclear weapons in Crimea on a permanent basis. There are indeed nuclear weapons carriers there. After all, any Su-24 aircraft, Iskander or Kalibr missile can theoretically carry a nuclear warhead," he said.
According to the analyst, there is no information that Russia is testing special ammunition for Iskander and Kalibr missiles to carry nuclear weapons. He noted that there are Tu-22 aircraft among the carriers Russia keeps in Crimea. It can also deploy Iskanders, Kalibrs, or Su-24.
"But I do not think that the infrastructure of Crimea allows the storage of nuclear weapons on a permanent basis," Oleksii Yizhak stressed.
- On January 6, the National Resistance Center reported that equipment and units of the Russian radiation, chemical and biological defense troops were spotted at the Crimean Titan plant.
