Russia creates fake "Zelensky Foundation" website to discredit Ukrainian president in eyes of the West - intelligence
Putin's administration has created a dedicated digital information warfare division focused on disinformation that discredits the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Western countries
Main Intelligence Department of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry shared the statement.
According to intelligence reports, according to the plan of the authors of the "action", a fictitious website of the so-called "ZELENSKYY Foundation" will be created and made public. An offer to foreign citizens and institutions to join its "activities'' will be posted on the website.
Thus, it is planned to create and further publicize the "assortment line of the Fund" and register it on trading platforms in Europe.
The work of the fund structure in the EU countries is planned to be developed according to the principle of "network marketing".
According to the organizers of the propaganda "action", this will make it possible to actively spread the specified information in the European media space.
As of August 10, Kremlin propagandists have already managed to create a website, prepare for distribution on social networks fake screenshots of publications of well-known mass media about the creation of the fund, as well as create a database of so-called "network leaders" and bloggers for further distribution of materials.
In addition, Russian propagandists even prepared memes and comments to be published later on social networks.
It is noted that the "launch" of the project and the start of a media campaign for its promotion is expected in the near future.
The General Directorate of Intelligence urges the world community not to trust Russian fakes and to receive information about Ukraine only from confirmed sources.
