This was reported by the official Twitter of the British Ministry of Defense.
Ukraine's air force and air defense forces continue to effectively defend Ukraine's airspace. Russia has failed to gain control of the air, so it is counting on long-range weapons launched from Russian airspace to strike targets in Ukraine. Gaining air control has been one of main Russia's goals in the first days of the conflict, and their inability to do so has significantly hampered their operational progress," the Defense Ministry said.
