Russia claims Pope Francis participates in prisoners of war exchanges
The Russian ambassador to the Vatican, Alexandr Avdeev, said that PoW exchanges take place considering the lists of Ukrainian personnel that are regularly provided by Pope Francis.

“We appreciate the Pontiff's personal work so much. He performs a humanitarian mission of considerable importance, which allows hundreds of people to be returned to their families,” Avdeev stated.
Earlier, the Pope himself claimed he was participating in the exchange of prisoners.
