He posted the statement on X.
"With President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the NATO summit to reaffirm France’s unwavering support. I strongly condemned Russia’s massive attack on Dnipro and its recent strikes on Ukrainian cities," Macron emphasized.
He reminded the public that over three months ago, Kyiv accepted a ceasefire proposal, while Russia has "persistently refused peace."
"It bombs, it kills, it violates international law — never being held accountable. Russia cannot continue killing with impunity," Macron stated.
- Ukraine is counting on further strengthening of European Union sanctions against Russia that would hit the aggressor country's military budget.
