On December 10, Russian troops have launched Shahed 'kamikaze' drones at the Odesa region, leaving thousands without power supply
Maksym Marchenko, head of Odesa Regional Military Administration, said that due to Russian drone attacks in the Odesa region, electricity supply was cut in almost all districts and communities of the region.
Maksym Marchenko also noted that air defense units shot down 2 drones over the Black Sea, but Russian troops targeted the energy infrastructure and housing stock.
The Operational Command South previously had also informed on the attack.
"At night, the enemy attacked southern Ukraine with 'kamikaze' drones. Continuing their terror tactics, Russian forces struck energy infrastructure objects in the Odesa region, causing significant destruction and leaving thousands of consumers without power supply," the command said.
There are no reports of casualties, rescue services are working to counter the consequences of the Russian attacks.
