The Russian military continues to campaign for people to join the army ranks and go fighting in Ukraine war
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shared the information in a morning report on June 3.
In order to replenish losses in manpower, Russia agitates its own population for military service in various ways.
“In the city of Zorinsk, Altai Krai, representatives of the penitentiary service are engaging in outreach activities with people on parole. They are encouraging them to consider signing a contract for a period of 3 to 5 months of military service," the statement said.
Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a control center, 2 ammunition depots and destroy 17 UAVs
Over the past day, the aviation of the Ukrainian defense forces carried out 15 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel, 2 of them - on anti-aircraft missile systems.
Over the course of the day, Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit a command post, 2 ammunition depots, 2 electronic warfare stations, a radar station and an MLRS.
Ukrainian troops also destroyed 15 cruise missiles and 17 Shahed-136 attack UAVs.
Russia launches 67 air and 17 missile strikes over a day

Over the past day, Russia launched 67 air strikes, 17 missile strikes, and 91 MLRS attacks.
Russian troops attempt to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Over the past day, 29 combat engagements took place there.

On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops maintain military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. They launched an air strike near a settlement in the Kharkiv region.

They carried out air strikes near 3 settlements in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Six settlements across the regions came under artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near Ivaniske.

They also shelled 8 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Russian army launched air strikes near Avdiivka in the Donetsk region and shelled 3 settlements with artillery.
In the Marinka direction, Russian forces launched an assault near the town of Marinka, but Ukrainian defenders repelled all 14 attacks. Russia suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops launched air strikes near Prechystivka and shelled 3 settlements.
In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian forces are on the defensive.

Russian forces shelled 14 settlements across Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
