Russia actively redeploys troops from Kherson region to Zaporizhzhia – volunteer Holovnya
Volunteer Roman Holovnya said that local residents in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region report that occupation troops are actively moving towards Zaporizhzhia
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"Occupying Russian forces are focused on maintaining their positions in the temporarily occupied territory. According to information from local residents, Russian forces are actively conducting rotational activities. Many occupation troops are sent towards Zaporizhzhia region. Such measures are aimed at strengthening their troops in this area, as the Armed Forces of Ukraine are constantly putting pressure on the occupying Russian army," said Holovnya.
The volunteer also added that the Russian forces continue to chaotically shell civilian infrastructure
"Local residents on the left bank of the Kherson region note that the number of Russian soldiers has significantly decreased. However, the Russian forces are actively reinforcing themselves with equipment. In most cases, this equipment is outdated. The Russian army also continues to randomly shell civilian settlements. In this way, they are trying to show that they are still present in the area," he added.
- On September 4, the head of the Joint Coordination Press Centre of the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces, Natalia Humeniuk, said that Russian troops had encountered problems with transport routes connecting the temporarily occupied mainland Ukraine with Crimea.
