Russia accuses Ukraine of shelling military warehouses near Moscow and announce that 3 drones were downed
The Ministry of Defense of Russia claims that on June 21, 3 Ukrainian drones were allegedly downed in the village of Kalininets, Moscow region, on the way to warehouses of a military unit
The ministry wrote about this on Telegram.
Russia’s Defense Ministry says that they downed three drones, causing them to crash because of electronic warfare interference.
According to their message, “the Kyiv regime attempted a terrorist attack using three unmanned aircraft-type vehicles in the Moscow region, but the attack failed with no casualties or damage.”
The governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyov, previously reported an "attack" by two drones.
The military unit in question is located in the Naro-Fominsk city district near Moscow. The governor stated that the drones were shot down at 5:30 and 5:50 in the morning.
“The wreckage has been discovered, and there are no injuries or damage. Special services are currently involved, conducting an inspection and securing the area,” the message says.
