Romanian President Nicușor Dan says his country is unlikely to participate in imposing a no-fly zone over Ukraine, saying that doing so would mean entering the conflict

Agerpres reported the information.
“We held initial discussions on this issue with people from the national government, advisors, military personnel, and foreign policy experts. For now, most likely no,” said the Romanian leader.
He also stressed that Bucharest could reconsider this position depending on how events unfold.
“There are international norms regarding what it means to be in a conflict or not. According to some interpretations held by the majority, doing this would mean entering the conflict,” Dan added.
- Russian Security Council head Dmitry Medvedev lashed out at Estonia’s defense minister and NATO initiatives in Kyiv, warning that proposals for a “no-fly zone” over Ukraine would mean “only one thing – a NATO war with Russia.”
