Residents of Russian-occupied Kherson region are urged to evacuate urgently due to threat from Russian mobilization
The head of the Kherson regional state administration, Yaroslav Yanushevich, called on residents of the Russian-occupied territories in Ukraine's Kherson region to evacuate due to the danger of the occupiers mobilizing the population for war against Ukraine.
Yanushevich wrote about this in Telegram.
"In connection with the latest events and statements of the Russian leadership regarding the holding of a pseudo-referendum and the announcement of "partial mobilization", I want to once again appeal to the people of Kherson who remain under occupation - evacuate. There is a great risk that the so-called "partial mobilization" will also take place on occupied territories. Men who for various reasons were forced to take Russian passports or provide their personal data to the occupier are in a special risk group. You can expect anything from the enemy, and in this situation the most reasonable thing to do is to leave for the territory controlled by Ukraine, until the occupier finally deprived you of this opportunity," Janushevich wrote.
The head of the Kherson region also announced the contacts to which you can apply for assistance in evacuation.
"For those who do not have the opportunity to evacuate on their own - call us at 0800330951 or write to the chatbot https://t.me/khoda_help_bot. We will provide you with an evacuation algorithm, help and provide support after leaving the occupation. Leave, keep calm and believe in Ukrainian Armed Forces ! Kherson region is Ukraine. And everything will be Ukraine!" - wrote Yanushevich.
