Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp stated this during the International Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) in Rome, according to the press service of the Dutch government.

Main areas of assistance:

  • €30 million will go to support Dutch companies and organizations implementing recovery projects in Ukraine through the Ukraine Partnership Facility (UPF) program.

  • €52 million in 2025 will be directed toward restoring energy infrastructure and water supply systems.

  • €4 million will be allocated for the construction of a new wing at the children’s hospital in Lviv.

These funds are part of a broader non-military aid package for Ukraine totaling over €500 million (€252 million per year in 2025–2026).

Cybersecurity support:

  • The Netherlands will allocate €10 million annually in 2025–2026 to strengthen Ukraine’s cyber defense, particularly in critical sectors such as energy and transport, due to ongoing cyber threats from Russia.

Minister Veldkamp emphasized that Russia is trying to destroy not only Ukraine’s army but also its society and economy, so the international community must support Ukraine financially, economically, and socially as well.

  • On July 10, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome.
