Putin's regime exists as long as there is war - Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Lapin
Russia has money and resources, mobilization resources - no time to relax, the regime of Russian President Vladimir Putin exists and lives as long as there is war
This was stated by the Armed Forces officer Ihor Lapin on the Espreso TV channel.
"All the capabilities of the Russians are calculated by the number of personnel they can mobilize for the war in Ukraine. Russia has an inexhaustible resource of people - about 25 million. Let's look at the population of Ukraine - 40 million. 8 million refugees left, another 5 million are internally displaced persons. Can we mobilize 25 million? No," he said.
According to Lapin, Russia is counting on this and will throw more cannon fodder.
"If on their side - criminals are killed, on our side - the elite of the nation. They can make a counteroffensive. Today, the grouping of Russian troops in Belarus is growing. In Belarus itself, there are 10,000-15,000 thousand more who can go to die for Lukashenko. They now do not have the strength to fully attack from the north. And if something like in Soledar starts on all fronts? Can we defeat the Russian grouping?" the officer said.
He believes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces can do it, but they need help - tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, aircraft.
"Russians can make up to 40 missiles per month. Russia has money and resources, mobilization resources, closed borders. We do not have to relax. The war can be both fleeting (in case of tectonic shifts in the Russian Federation) and protracted. Putin's regime exists and lives as long as there is war," Lapin concluded.
