Putin lacks the young people, resources to win – US Deputy Secretary on confidence in Ukraine’s victory over Russia

US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland discussed this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

"We see how Ukraine fought incredibly bravely and suffered losses on its side, but we also see huge losses on the Russian side in killed and wounded. We see their equipment destroyed. We see how they lose a huge number of tanks, modern systems, aviation and weapons, which Putin cannot replace, because no one helps him in this and because he lacks Russian youth who are ready to fight in this terrible, malicious, cruel, immoral war", she said.

Nuland notes that the United States that Ukraine will see victory and is supporting the Ukrainians with everything they need to fight. She noted that the US is open to the conversation on how to ensure that when Ukraine wins this war, nothing like this will never happen again.
