Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in the My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, the American reality talk show released on Netflix.
The host asked the Ukrainian president's opinion about whether Putin can use nuclear weapons.
“I saw him (Putin - ed.), I saw his desire to live. He loves life very much, he even sits at a long table... he is afraid of Covid or something else. This shows that he is afraid of death, and he loves life. So I'm not sure he's ready to go nuclear. Because he understands: if he uses nuclear weapons, then the response can be from any state to him. To him personally,” Zelenskyy said.
