Putin hits Ukraine's civilians with missiles, Europe's with prices. This is part of his doctrine - Dmytro Kuleba

Dmytro Kuleba, head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, made a statement.

"Russia's war is not limited to Ukraine. Putin deliberately seeks to destroy the stability and well-being of every European family. He uses energy and food as weapons to increase pressure. In Ukraine, Putin hits civilians with missiles, in Europe he hits civilians with prices. This is part of his doctrine," Kuleba said.

He noted that the leader of the aggressor country wants to make the life of every European family the same as the life of Russian families, and pursues two goals: first, he wants to show the Russians that these wealthy Europeans and Americans live no better than them, and  secondly, he wants to dictate to European governments what concessions they should make for Russia.

"Ukraine stands in the way of these plans and protects other nations from Russia. With effective and long-term support, Ukraine will defeat Putin and prevent him from causing even more problems for people in Europe, Asia and Africa," the minister emphasized.

He also noted that the logic of the voices proposing to give Putin what he wants is dangerously naive, and that the people making such proposals are either uninformed about Russian threats or are deliberately trying to mislead in favor of Russia.
