Putin has no cards left up his sleeve, he will lose – Piontkovsky
Washington based political scientist Andrey Piontkovsky has said that yet another of Putin’s campaigns, a new large-scale offensive aimed at destroying Ukrainian air defense, has failed
He told this on Espreso TV.
"By the way, another campaign failed. Why was Putin's speech so insubstantial? They wanted to demonstrate some kind of victory. Just 10 days before, British and American intelligence warned that the Russians were preparing a large-scale offensive, not just by bombarding Ukrainian positions with corpses of mobilized inmates, but by using APVs. And they began an offensive on Vuhledar, but it failed. Then they planned a several-wave air attack with the entire potential of the Russian Air Forces, using kamikaze pilots first to detect Ukrainian air defense, to destroy it in subsequent waves, and then to control the Ukrainian sky. The pilots seem to have refused, and his military experts might have explained that this was a ridiculous plan," he commented.
He concluded that Putin has no cards up his sleeve left, he will lose the war.
