Putin has lost all chances to win war and stay in power - military expert Hetman
Military expert Oleksiy Hetman believes Putin has no chance to win the war and keep his power in Russia
He shared his opinions on Espreso TV.
"Formally, according to the legal agreements of the CSTO countries, we can assume that Russia has already been attacked. They have recognized the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine as their own. We have already managed to recapture some of these occupied territories. Therefore, they may consider it an attack on Russia. This is complete nonsense, of course. However, this is the logic they use," explained Hetman.
The expert believes the CSTO countries will not provide military assistance to Russia
"We are liberating our own territories. Russia may interpret this as an attack, because they have recognized these territories as theirs. It's complete nonsense, but according to their logic, the CSTO countries should respond to this. However, I do not think that any of the CSTO member states will provide real assistance to Russia. They don't want to spoil relations with Russia yet, but they are well aware that Putin has lost all chances to win this war and stay in power," he added.
