Putin continues to be criticized in Russia for declaring Christmas ‘truce” - ISW
Experts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) note that President Putin was criticized in Russia for announcing the so-called Christmas truce
This is reported by ISW.
In particular, war criminal Igor Girkin called Putin's "ceasefire" a "bold and decisive step towards the defeat and surrender" of Russian troops.
Other well-known military bloggers, according to the ISW report, used the Putin's words about the "truce" to once again criticize the Kremlin for waging war.
The analysts suggest that the ceasefire announcement is likely to continue to serve as a point of irritation for those in the information space who maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with Putin.
While many in the Russian information space have sharply criticized the ceasefire announcement, some have used the Russian president's statement to continue to spread the narrative that Putin is a defender of religious values and morality.
