This was stated by the Russian president’s foreign policy aide and former Russian ambassador to the U.S., Yuri Ushakov, according to TASS.

Putin told Trump that on the night of May 7, they supposedly stopped terrorist threats near the Kremlin and Red Square.

He also complained that Ukraine allegedly launched 524 drones and Storm Shadow missiles at Russia that same night.

  • U.S. President Donald Trump's conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on May 19 did not change anything in Russia's war against Ukraine, according to Zelenskyy's aide.
