Putin administration realizes it has lost Ukraine war - General Malomuzh
Ukrainian Army General, Head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service (2005-2010), Mykola Malomuzh, has said he believes that Russia's top military and political leadership understand that they have lost the war with Ukraine
He expressed his opinion on Espreso TV.
“Putin understands very clearly that he has lost the war with Ukraine. Volodin, Medvedev and all Putin officials also understand this. This is evidenced by their statements about the use of nuclear weapons. They are very afraid that the war will move to the territory of Russia and understand that they will not be able to defeat Ukraine on the battlefield. That is why such statements are made,” Malomuzh explained.
The general of the Ukrainian army emphasized that the world no longer takes Putin's threats about nuclear weapons seriously.
“If hostilities take place already on the territory of the Russian Federation, it will mean for Putin the fall of his regime. Because the Russians will perceive this as the inability of their authorities to protect them. That is why Putin has now resorted to threatening our allies not to supply us with weapons. However, I want to emphasize that today the world is no longer afraid of the Kremlin's threats,” he added.
