The statement was made by the Head of the Ukraine President's office Andriy Yermak.
"PT-91 Twardy from Poland are already in Ukraine. Many thanks to our friends," wrote Andriy Yermak.
Krzysztof Platek, spokesman for the Polish Armaments Agency, reported on the transfer of these tanks on Wolski o Wojnie on Sunday.
According to him, Poland previously sent more than 200 T-72 tanks, and now the Ukrainian Armed Forces received T-72s of the national PT-91 Twardy modification. It is planned to replenish the transferred armored vehicles in Poland through the purchase of South Korean tanks, which will arrive by 2026, and the purchase of American M1 Abrams.
The exact number of transferred PT-91 Twardy tanks is not reported.
