"The psychological conditions are very difficult. The personnel come into contact with Russian occupiers, both in the city and on the territory of the Zaporizhzhya NPP. They pass through the passageway and the occupiers immediately stand with machine guns. No one can bring a single phone into the territory of the station. No one can contact their families under the bombardment of the city and the station. The situation is very morally difficult, but the staff are professional and fully fulfill their duties ," he said.

The employee commented on the possibility of an accident at the station.

"There are not only 6 power units on the territory of the ZNPP, but also a storage of spent nuclear fuel. And shelling can lead to the leakage of radioactive parts from the storage," he noted.
