Propaganda flywheel slows, as Russians realize they will be held accountable on par with Putin
Russian propaganda no longer has new and fresh ideas, and there are no people willing to work for it
Political scientist and international lawyer Mykola Davydiuk expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.
“You can see very clearly how Russia is deflating, how this propaganda flywheel is slowing down. There are neither new ideas, nor bright people who are ready to work for it,” he said.
Davydiuk noted that some Russian propagandists have begun to hide. For example, he said, Vladimir Solovyov is still hanging on, but Kiselev with his statements about nuclear ashes and the United Kingdom and the United States having been burned has already gone into hiding. This also applies to such propagandists as Margarita Simonyan.
“I think that in fact, Russian propaganda has realized that the monster they created, this sowing of propaganda in the post-Soviet space, in Europe, was actually working for fascism. They realized that they would be responsible for this, just like Putin, who gave criminal orders, and like the soldiers who committed war crimes,” the political scientist emphasized.
He added that now Russian propagandists are trying to direct attention to other people, but no one wants to take their place.
“And Ukraine is also demonstrating that if we have put Putin on the warrant for the genocide of children, why don't we do what we did in Rwanda with Radio Three Thousand Hills, when they were responsible for war crimes and propaganda. And they understand that we will make them answer for it, they know this for sure, so they are hiding,” Davydiuk explained.
