The relevant decision was made щт May 20, 2023, at the congress of this political force in the Moscow region, Russian RIA Novosti reports.

At the same time, party leader Sergei Mironov said that he did not plan to run for office.

"Today, I am addressing the delegates of our congress with a proposal to nominate Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin as president of the Russian Federation in the upcoming elections in 2024," Mironov said during the plenary session.

The leader's proposal was supported by his fellow party members.

A Just Russia – For Truth party has 28 members in the current convocation of the State Duma. One of its leaders is Russian propaganda writer Zakhar Prilepin, who was assassinated on May 6.
