Prigozhin’s video where he is “in Bakhmut surrounded by Russia” is disinformation – Center for Strategic Communications
The head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin recorded a video in which he claimed to be in Bakhmut “surrounded by Russia”: in fact, it was made in the village of Paraskoviivka
This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security.
The chief of the Russian PMC Wagner recorded a video in which he claims to be in Bakhmut, surrounded by Russian troops. It is noted that in fact the video was created in the village of Paraskoviivka, captured by Russian troops on February 20.
"This is part of a disinformation campaign against the population of Ukraine to spread panic and provoke the top military and political leadership. The Russian command avoids visiting the front line, and it is not the first time that Prigozhin himself imitates being on the front line, while actually being in behind the front lines," the Center said.
