Prigozhin's mutiny against Putin is clearly planned by Russian secret services — military expert Sniehiryov
Military expert Dmytro Sniehiryov says that recent events in Russia were orchestrated by the Russian secret services
He stated this on Espreso.
“Regrettably, nothing destructive has happened in Russia. The recent events in Russia were orchestrated by the Russian special services. Prigozhin carried out several assigned missions. The most significant achievement was bringing the Wagner PMC under the complete control of the Russian Ministry of Defense. This integration transformed it into one of the highly capable units of the Russian forces, now part of the regular army. Consequently, Wagner PMC lost its autonomy in decision-making during the planning of operations,” he said.
The expert stressed that Prigozhin has never acted independently in Russian politics.
“Prigozhin is a creation of the Russian special services and a member of Putin's inner circle. He receives support from officials such as Kiriyenko. Therefore, it is incorrect to discuss Prigozhin's independence in any capacity,” he added.
