Presentation of Putin's ideologue Aleksandr Dugin’s book is canceled in Poland
The presentation of the book by the ideologue of Russian fascism Aleksandr Dugin was supposed to take place at the Gdańsk Higher School on Saturday, October 29, but it was canceled after outrage on social media
This is reported by Poland Radio.
A lecture on releasing a new book by the Russian ultranationalist Aleksandr Dugin was planned at the Gdańsk Higher School. The announcement of the event caused mass outrage among users of social networks, due to which the presentation was canceled.
"Thanks to your reporting, we were able to intervene to prevent this from happening. We did not know for what purpose the premises in our institution were rented. We are outraged by what this meeting was about. This is a lesson for us to better screen our tenants in the future. We are very sorry for this situation," the university explained.
Aleksandr Dugin is a far-right Russian ideologue who helped "sow the seeds for Russia's invasion of Ukraine." In 2014, he said, in particular, that "Ukrainians should be killed, killed and killed."
