Ukrainian air defence shoots down Russian missile near Kryvyi Rih
The explosion was reported at about 5:35 p.m. by the pro-Ukrainian Crimean Wind Telegram channel.
"A loud explosion was heard in all districts of Sevastopol. After that, an air raid siren was activated," the statement says.
According to eyewitnesses, it was a "direct hit."
According to another Telegram channel, the hit was in the area of Sakharna Holovka, where a military unit of the occupying Russian forces is located.
The so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said that "the Russian fleet is repelling the attack of air targets."
On the night of October 16-17, Ukrainian defenders successfully attacked Russian helicopters and airfields in Luhansk and Berdyansk.
