Political scientist Shlinchak: Some Russian territories may declare secession from Russia
Victor Shlinchak, Chairman of the Board of the Institute of World Policy, believes that Russia is confidently heading for collapse
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"Putin is already saying that Russia may collapse, and this is a recognition of the most important problem that the Kremlin is facing. Russia is confidently heading towards its collapse, and thanks to Putin, it is doing so quite effectively. A year ago, many international experts and politicians did not consider this scenario to be a basic one. They said that Russia would survive," Shlinchak emphasized.
According to the political scientist, Russia is slipping into decline and collapse.
"Russia is fulfilling point by point what the Soviet Union did before it split. Western leaders have already begun to talk about the possible collapse of Russia, that some Russian territories may declare their secession from Russia. The West has no other opinion than to consider this scenario as a basic one. I hope that our partners will be prepared for the possible collapse of Russia and will not be afraid of it," Shlinchak said.
