Police found 13 bags of secret Russian documentation in liberated Izyum
Police seized secret Russian documentation in the basement of the lyceum in liberated Izyum.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reports.
Among the evidence discovered is a secret combat order of Russian military for the invasion of Ukraine, a topographical map of Kharkiv region with a route of movement, personnel lists of tank divisions of Russian Armed Forces, documents of structural units of Izyum District Regional Government Administration, educational institutions, medical institutions, entrepreneurs and utility companies.
"According to this fact, investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Sanction of the article provides from 8 to 12 years," the message reads.

On September 15, police discovered mass burial for hundreds of people in the liberated Izyum.

On September 16, in the de-occupied Izyum of Kharkiv region, the exhumation of bodies in mass burial sites began. Their number will probably exceed the number of those killed in Bucha in Kyiv region. Igor Klymenko, head of the National Police, said that there are approximately 445 graves.

On September 17, Oleg Synegubov, head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said that among the bodies from mass burial in Izyum, Kharkiv region, which were exhumed on Friday, September 16, 99% had signs of violent death.

On September 23, after a visit to Izyum, EU ambassador announced that Ukraine would receive "all the help" of EU to win the war and bring Russian war criminals to justice.
