Police finds the bodies of two tortured civilians in the liberated village of Grakove, Chuguyiv district, Kharkiv region.
The Prosecutor General's Office reports.
After the liberation of the village of Grakove on September 7, one of the residents turned to the police. He said that the Russian occupiers forced him to bury the bodies of two men.
On September 9, law enforcement officers discovered two bodies with gunshot wounds to the back of the head and traces of torture near the territory of a private home. According to preliminary information, the men were killed by Russian soldiers in March during the occupation of the village.
Currently, the bodies have been sent for forensic examination. Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder).
