He shared his opinions in an interview with LA RAZÓN.

When asked about the likely duration of the war, Blaszczak said, "Starting from the scale of forces and means and the way the fighting is going on in Ukraine, I'm afraid that we are talking about months, not weeks. Russia is bogged down in Ukraine, just as it was in Chechnya and Afghanistan before."

"To withdraw from the war now would mean recognizing the Kremlin's mistake and the need to face the consequences of this barbaric attack," he added.

The minister emphasized that military assistance to Ukraine and economic pressure on Russia are the most effective forms of countering Russian occupying forces.

"We shouldn't feel tired or exempt from supporting Ukraine, this nation is also fighting for our freedom, for freedom and values of Europe," the official summarized.

  • British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace believes that the war in Ukraine will continue for another year, as Russia shows disregard for the lives of both Ukrainians and its own military.
