These are not the first Abrams for Poland and will not be the last. The country will be one of the largest operators of this tank in the world (more than 350 units). And this is only a piece of a large military puzzle that Warsaw is building.

Last year, the Poles handed over 240 tanks to Ukraine and immediately ordered 250 Abrams from the United States to replace them. 28 vehicles in the newest configuration were delivered in July.

In January last year, Poland had 800 tanks, including Soviet T-72M, its own PT-91 Twardy and several Leopard 2. In the next 7 years, the number of tanks will grow at least one and a half times and all of them will be modern.

Our western neighbor is creating a new army with new weapons and equipment. Poland will spend $120 billion on this by 2035! Already now, Politico calls the Polish army the strongest in the EU.

Currently, the Polish army has 150 thousand of well-trained soldiers. The plan stated this number will double.

The US is not the main supplier of equipment for Poland. The Poles already have a $10 billion military contract with South Korea. In particular, it provides for the supply of 180 K2 Black Panther tanks, the first 10 units are already in Poland. In total, Warsaw will buy 1000 vehicles from Seoul by the end of the decade.

Now in Poland, there are 50 F-16 aircrafts. And there will be 32 modern F-35s, the contract was signed two years ago. Another 48 FA-50 light attack aircraft will come from Korea. Leonardo helicopters - from Italy. In the future, the purchase of a multi-role combat aircraft KF-21 Boramae is considered.

Currently, Poland has about 400 combat aircraft. Another 670 K9 Thunder self-propelled howitzers have been ordered from Korea. Also, the army will receive 150 Krab self-propelled howitzers, including to replace those transferred to Ukraine.

Korea has ordered 218 K239 Chunmoo missile launchers. Negotiations are underway with the United States to purchase 200 HIMARS vehicles at once. There should be a contract for the purchase of WR-40 Langusta MLRS.

Such preparation is the best vaccination against Putinism.
