“At the request of the Operational Command of the Armed Forces, from September 10 to December 9, 2025, air traffic restrictions will be implemented in the EP R129 zone in eastern Poland,” the announcement stated.
According to schedules presented by PANSA, the EP R129 zone covers the border with Belarus and Ukraine along its entire length.

Authorities have imposed a complete nighttime flight ban, allowing only military aviation to operate. Additionally, a 24-hour restriction has been set on the flights of civilian unmanned aerial vehicles.
“The restrictions are being implemented to ensure national security,” PANSA reported.
- Poland has asked its allies to provide additional air defense systems and counter-drone technologies to better protect its territory amid Russian drone incursions into its airspace.
