"Poland has your back, it is your home, your brothers, sisters": Duda assures Ukrainians of comprehensive support

This was announced by the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, during the Summit of the Crimean Platform on August 23, 2022.

As stated in the message, Poland is a temporary shelter for many Ukrainians and Ukraine can fully count on the support of the Poles.

"Women and men of Ukraine protect Europe. They pay a high price with their lives, health and losses for Prague, for Warsaw, and for Berlin. Poland is your stronghold, it is your rear, it is your home. We are your brothers and sisters, and family for all Ukrainian refugees who have to flee from the war. They have a new home, albeit a temporary one, in Poland", Duda said. 

Duda also emphasized that Poland would support Ukraine under any president.

"We have no disputes on this matter. Everyone who was in this position before me would say the same thing, all the presidents of Poland are speaking to you, we are with you, we are on your side...Dear Ukrainian brothers! Ukraine hasn't died yet, Poland has not died yet. Let's go to victory together!", the President of Poland said.
