Point of no return in Russia's vassalage dependence on China will come — Ukrainian diplomat
A diplomat, former Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, noted that the Chinese are trying to use Putin and his regime in their confrontation with the United States
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The Chinese are using Russia. Whether they are classic partners or whether it is a matter of Russia's gradual vassalage to China is a question. I think it is both. When Xi talks about 200 billion in trade with Russia, it means that Russia will become more and more dependent on China, and one day there will be a point of no return. China is also giving Russia the opportunity to wage war in Ukraine," Klimkin stressed.
According to the diplomat, the Chinese need Russian resources.
"It is important for Russia to agree on the second stage of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. Of course, the Chinese will get good conditions and discounts that no one has ever received before. The Chinese are trying to use Putin, Russia and the Russian regime to confront the United States. China does not like the world system and the world order, although China does not want to take responsibility for it. China needs Putin and his regime. The Chinese are not interested in Putin winning, but they are also not interested in Putin losing," Klimkin added.
