PM Mishustin can sign orders if something happens to Putin – Piontkovsky
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin can sign orders as acting president if something happens to Vladimir Putin
The Washington-based political scientist Andrey Piontkovsky said this on Espreso TV.
“Mishustin is a dangerous man in the hands of his enemies. Mishustin can sign orders as acting president if something happens to Putin. By the way, Mishustin was not present at the demonstration of loyalty and devotion of governors and ministers that his PR team organized on Saturday (June 24 - ed.) morning. Mishustin said his first words somewhere on Monday or Tuesday,” he said.
The political scientist noted that at that meeting, the Deputy Minister of Defense and First Deputy Head of the GRU, Yevkurov and Alekseyev, sat like bandits. Shoigu and Gerasimov were in the same building, but fled when the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, approached.
“Two days have demonstrated the complete absence of power in Russia, the so-called fear of state, and now we will live in a completely new Putin's reality,” emphasized Andrey Piontkovsky.
