President Zelenskyy says war with Russia is entering new phase
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the war with Russia has entered a new phase. In addition, the leader of the state is satisfied that Ukraine's Armed Forces are not retreating from Russian troops
He said this in an interview with the AP.
"We have a new phase of war, and that is a fact. Winter as a whole is a new phase of war," the president said.
According to him, winter will complicate the fighting after the summer counteroffensive, which did not bring the desired results due to the constant lack of weapons and ground forces.
However, despite the setbacks, Zelenskyy said Ukraine would not give up, "Look, we are not backing down, I am satisfied. We are fighting with the second (best) army in the world, I am satisfied. We are losing people, I am not satisfied. We didn’t get all the weapons we wanted, I can’t be satisfied, but I also can’t complain too much."
