The fire at the machine-building plant was confirmed by the Russian Emergencies Ministry. It noted that this plant produces engines for MiG aircraft.
According to Russian media, the fire was reported at 03:37 am. In an office on the second floor of the plant, personal belongings and furniture caught fire over an area of about 15 square meters. There were victims of the fire, they were hospitalized.
Also, in Dzerzhinskoye, Moscow region, tires are burning in open warehouses near a local thermal power plant. The fire covers 2,500 square meters. The fire is clearly visible in the southern districts of Moscow.
