People live in occupied territories as if in ghettos – Prymorsk City Military Administration

Svitlana Makedonska, head of the Prymorsk City Military Administration in the Zaporizhzhia region, reports that Russians are seizing the property of Ukrainian citizens

She said this during an Espresso TV channel broadcast.

"Every day Russian occupying forces make living more difficult. People live there as if in ghettos. All norms of international law are violated. People cannot move freely. For residents to move in their vehicles, they must provide special passes issued in Berdiansk and Melitopol," she said.

She also added that the occupiers are nationalizing Ukrainian property.

"The occupation authorities demand documents of housing and land ownership from citizens, otherwise the housing is nationalized. They are also interested in businesses. Shop, cafe, recreation center owners are forced to re-register. Russian occupation authorities nationalize the property of those who left or did not provide the documents," Makedonska said.
