Pentagon assures that there are enough funds to meet Ukraine's needs

Deputy Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh assured this during a briefing.

"We're confident that we will have enough money to meet Ukraine's need through the fiscal year, but as you know, there's been a request for a supplemental. And we're hopeful that the Congress will approve a supplemental package for Ukraine," she emphasized.

Singh reminded that earlier the department had found a $6.2 billion overestimation of the cost of military aid to Ukraine as part of the packages provided from US stockpiles and “this would not expire at the end of the fiscal year.”
