Panic in Crimea: Russians realize that liberation of peninsula is imminent

Denys Chystikov, Deputy Representative of Ukraine’s President in Crimea, noted that there are no more Russians willing to have vacation in Crimea

He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

"There are no more Russians willing to go on vacation to Crimea for the May holidays. For the first time in 2023, Crimea was not among the top five regions where Russians would like to vacation. Crimea even dropped out of the top ten. Discounts offered by travel agencies do not allow attracting tourists to the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. People are returning their tickets. This is the result of panic among Russians and the realization that the liberation of Crimea is approaching," Chistikov emphasized.

According to the deputy representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the occupation authorities are trying to curb the decline of the real estate market in Crimea.

"The real estate market in Crimea is falling. The occupation authorities used a new element of pressure. The sale of real estate in Crimea needs to be coordinated with the so-called republican military commissariats. In this way they are trying to restrain the decline of the real estate market. Anyone who wants to sell real estate in Crimea may be subject to mobilization," Chistikov emphasized.
