The Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) said that Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed over 20 missiles during the air attack. The debris from the intercepted missiles caused significant damage to a 24-story building in the Solomyanskyi district of the capital, resulting in the destruction of several floors and a fire.

Two people died as a result of the falling debris. Eight people were injured, 2 were hospitalized. Others were provided with medical aid on the spot. Mykhailo Shamanov, a spokesman for the KCMA, told Espreso TV about the ongoing efforts to assist people who lost their homes as a result of the night attack.

"People who lost their homes will be temporarily resettled in a hostel or boarding house. Later, experts will assess whether it will be possible to allow people to return to their original residence," he said.
